#19 What happened in Hong Kong
Sunday, December 28, 2008
D: I'm sorry this post is like 2 weeks late, I had to browse through 500++ pictures and edit them :/
So okay, it will not be alot of pictures because most of them are collages. So anyway, the trip was from 4th to 10th december C:

Fourth
Left early in the morning and clique + bestfriend came down (MY DARLINGS ♥)

Then I took a plane to Hong Kong, alone. ): I hate take off and landing ): Pressure in the ears is one thing, the sudden dropping adrenaline rush no joke man. Food wasn't that bad, there was Haagen Dazs ice cream! Reached hong kong, got myself a prepaid card and pulled my one-side-wheel-less luggage through the absolutely silent airport express subway that like, only highclass businessmen take. Their luggages were like damn smooth going 'swooshhhhh' and mine was like going 'kechak kechak kechak' wtf D:
Went to Ladies street at night and bought some random stuff (including a luggage that costs SGD$40. Smelt one of the most disgusting-smelling foods, 臭豆腐. I nearly died, because like 8 of our group of 10 were eating. D:
I had to share a single bed with Lily (the maid) but it was fine, because none of us kicks/snores/turns.

Fifth
Breakfast at some stall that I couldn't find for the next 5 days but the wanton mee and milk tea was THE BEST ♥ Omg it was so nice I miss it ):
Then, DISNEYLAND. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG HAHAHAHAHA I LOVE THIS PLACE HEEHEHEHEHEHHE ALL MY RELATIVES ARE THERE I SWEAR AND THEY ARE STARS OMG I LOVE DISNEYLAND I AM GOING TO BRING YANG THERE SOME DAY :D

Oh yes I had my Sakun mask on half the time because the breeze was damn cold and my nose and lips and skin felt weird. I think I freaked some people out who were staring at me like I'm some terrorist or wondering if I'm a performer. I didn't dare to take any of the rides that left the ground so the only one I took was the spinning teacup thing. The stageshows were beyond awesome, Golden Micky and the Lion King. The singing was great the effect was awesome and hahahaha I shaked hands with some hyenas C: Once again I did some shopping (but then again I don't remember what I bought). There was a Christmas Special where you have to put on thee glasses at night and the lights become snowmen! :D
its not very clear but you can see the shape, right?!

3D Show about Donald Duck that includes water, fragrances and forks/spoons thrown at you :O

BELIEVE IT ANOT, THIS IS SNOW :D

At night we went to Temple Street for some shopping (but didn't buy anything) and dinner. Wtf the dining place was damn disgusting. People working there was damn rude pushing and shouting and all. My mood/appetite was totally ruined lah. D:

Sixth
Macau. Was very very bad.
Ferry rides are horrible to begin with. Lily and I felt nauseas/dizzy all the way through we manged to finish a XL pack of mint mentos.
Was very excited about Venetian City at first because Sharlyn told me it's damn pretty.

Well, it is. But not when you're there for 4 hours. There isn't much to do there seriously, except take photos. :/ So I spent my time roaming around aimlessly alone and getting really really pissed. D: But things got better because during my final detour out of the doors of the safety of the Venetian City, some uncles/cheekopeks offered to open the doors for me C: (Ya lah big deal, big deal.) Then when I went back I found Uncle Vincent with a Haagen Dazs cake :D But then I found out we were not going to explore Macau further and took the next ferry back to Hong Kong.
The ride back was like DAMN SERIOUSLY FUCKED UP. The sea was rough and the journey was really damn scary. Baby cousin vomitted (through her nose too) and cried damn badly. As for myself, I couldn't stand it so I went to the back of the ferry and talked myself through it all. It worked.
After we had lunch back at the Ferry Terminal we went shopping around our hotel area :D
Overally, TODAY SUCKED BECAUSE FERRIES SUCK. D:

Seventh
Dim sum breakfast finally at 稻香 AND IT WAS AMAZAZING. OH GOD. SO DAMN GOOD. I am happy because I was the one who found the place C:
Then it was off to Central for some shopping though I don't remember buying anything.

Oh saw this while heading to the subway. Damn cute C:

I went back to the hotel to take a quick nap but was awaken by Ranel's cries ):
Then we went to Star Avenue where the city view is seriously beautiful and I touched Andy Lau's hand. C:

OHOHOH HERE COMES THE BEST PART. I HAD MY COMIC PORTRAIT DRAWN BY THIS CHINA GUY.

Eighth
Ocean Park! It's pretty boring if you're a chicken like me, and dare not take roller coasters, where hungry eagles swoosh and circle above your heads waiting for you to fall for your death... I swear they can feel your fear. D:
Took the ferris wheel (I think my first time ever) which was really something because the sunset was beautiiiiiiful.

AND, I swear, I hate China people. Especially in the Ocean Park aquarium. They have no brains I swear. It was clearly written on every single mini aquarium that flash is prohibited. They simply act blur.

*FLASH*
"哦?!怎么这样?!"
*Happily takes another shot*
"怎么会有闪光呢?!不是关了吗?!"

So on and on they just flashed their lights and then act blur/shocked.

Finally I couldn't take it anymore and confronted a lady.

“小姐,不能用闪光啊,这有写。”
”噢,是吗?!”

Then without even bothering to switch off her flash, she turned and walked towards the next aquarium before taking photos with flash again.
Like Seriously WHAT THE FUCK YOUR PARENTS NEVER TEACH YOU ABOUT MANNERS AH FUCKER. CHINESE DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ ISSIT STUPID MAINLANDERS.

You know what, forget about those stpid people.

After that we took cable car to the foot of the park.
On cable car C:

Walked around hotel area alone at night and bought some shoes + went to Charlie Brown's Cafe which has good food, nice atmosphere, awesome service C:

Back to hotel C:

OHOHOH On the way back I passed by this Suju-M poster c:

Ninth
Dimsum breakfast again at the same building but at a different restaurant. Not as good as the previous one... :/
Went shopping alone. Mongkok & Sham shui po.
Random shopping: 2 heaphones, a cap, a beannie, some muji pens, a muji planner, a TOUGH shirt that costs SGD60++ (ya like wtf but the sales guy was so nice, i had to buy something D:)
Tried portugese egg tart which is OMGDAMNYUMMYOMG and 豆沙饼 ♥
Returned to the hotel early (to prevent myself from buying utterly useless stuff from nice sales people)
Watched Discovery Channel until I fell asleep.
Skipped dinner for the first time on this trip and continued watching Discovery Channel to the wee hours. (Ben [a rather good looking cousin of mine] & I just randomly shot comments here and there. Really talked for the first time :O)

Tenth
Walked to the Harbour from our hotel and I scraped my knee ): Took some hilarious photos & played catching ith the kids (They say I run very fast! *proud*)

Checked out of hotel and went to some japanese deparment store 5 minutes walk away to get backpacks which I LOVE (So shut up people, I don't care if I kena scammed! D:)
Wanted to take the subway to the Airport but I underestimated the weight of my luggage. It was killing to just drag it down the street for 5 minutes so when I saw the stairs-only subway entrance, I hailed a cab instead.
Ate popeyes for lunch (which sucked D:)

FLIGHT BACK TO SINGAPORE WAS DEAFENING, Literally. MY EARS STILL HURT D:
I was seriously damn pissed.
At first, I was given a window seat because I requested for it. Then they last minute change my seat because a famiy of 3 (which was separated because of me) wanted to sit together. But wtf, they transferred me to a isle seat. That's by all means fine, actually. But they somehow decided to put me beside 2 toddlers that cried NONSTOP THROUGHOUT THE FLIGHT. WTF.
I gave the small boy a lollipop (coke lemon flavour) and GUESS WHAT. HE SAID HE DIDN'T WANT TO EAT IT BECAUSE HE DON'T LIKE THE COLOUR. WHAT THE FUCK. DON'T WANT DONE LAH HUH. DIE YOU DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
And when I pressed the service button for a blanket. They left me to freeze for like 20 minutes before eventually getting to me. WTF D:
I AM FUCKING DISAPPOINTED IN CATHAY'S SERVICE REALLY.

Then when we alighted I was so distressed I decided to indulge in the free massager for 10 minutes. Then I slowly made my way to the passport checking place. WTF IT WAS DAMN CROWDED. AND THEY HAD LIKE, 8 ROWS OF "ALL PASSPORTS" AND NONE FOR "SINGAPORE PASSPORTS" Oh god, I was seriously cursing all the way. And this fucked up China lady who was queueing behind me kept trying to cut the queue. Wtf.

Thankfully at the end I was transferred to another row because I'm singaporean. (Yes, that's the way!)
So I got out in a jiffy leaving those loser China people queueing till their asses ROT.

Can you see why I hate China people now?

[EDIT] OH YAH, One last picture.

SGD900 worth of stuff?
Hong Kong is so full of scammers D:
