I don't know what's happening or what's to come. I don't know if our whole friendship/teacher-student-ship would be jeopardized after what has happened. I don't want this to end. We all don't. We said we'll follow you to the end. And we're more than prepared to keep our promise. We didn't walk out on you when it all happened. Please do not walk out on us now.
I remember seeing you teaching Jae some stuff the first time you took over us. I remember disliking your style of teaching because you weren't teaching the actual choreo. I remember you asking if we would like to learn techniques instead. I remember you joking and doing weird things in class. I remember us laughing along. I remember you bringing our class together. I remember us staying back after class to talk for the first time. I remember the awkward moments we had with one guy and 9 girls. I remember looking forward to dance ever saturday. I remember having fun.
You may not be my first instructor. You may not be the reason why I started. But.
But you were the one that kept us going. You were the one that made an effort to make classes fun. You were the one who taught us things we didn't know. You were the reason this class even continued. You were one who kept us going. You were the one who always stood by our side. You were the one we wanted to follow. You were the best instructor I ever had. You still are. And I believe you'll always be.
I hope to receive a reply soon. We actually had a Teacher's Day surprise planned for you tomorrow. We wanted you to know how special you are to us. How important.
You have to love it.
You have to live it."
"You need to dare to venture, dare to explore."
"Let it all out. Don't hold back."
Cher, I hope you get yourself (and us along) back on track. Without you, we're nothing.
